Protective spell animal symbol and meaning: Phoenix – Phoenix means rebirth and a new life. This sums up pretty much Natsu. Even thought he’s much MUCH worst than anyone else hes always somehow keeping up. Hes always reborning everytime he is facing a hard quest or a hardtime in his life hes getting over it fights and if he fails he tries again. He reborns stronger and stronger everytime never giving up. Phoenix also symbolises magic and trust so the principal accepted him even thought he wasnt strong he saw a spark that could be worked enough to make Natsu in to  a great wizard one day if he works hard enough.

Personality: Natsu is a little spitfire. Even thought hes very kind sweet and loving towards his mother and friends he cares for them and protects them with his life he is a douche for those who are rude towads him. Hes sassy and he talks back at any time he can. He has a very dirty mouth as well wich his teachers absolutely despise and his mother too but hes trying to contain himself around adults. Natsu is also very cocky and sure of himself even thought hes the bottom of the class not just in magic but hes not a very bright boy either. He is good at tactics and fighting but actual classes? He never pays attention. Hes also very loud and obnoxious but also very trustworthy he never tells anyone’s secrets and he can be trusted to do the things you ask him to do but since hes not so bright he sometimes does things that maybe he shouldn’t. Other things to know about him is that he loves to go swiming and diving and he has a passion towards animals. He loves them very much expect bugs „BURN THEM ALL!! … expect butterflies , moths , ladybugs and some other cute ones those are fine” quoted by him. He also has a passion for cooking no matter if its cooking baking or anything else he loves to make food. Probably cause he loves to try new foods. He’s also very social he smiles most of the time even thought he has no friends he still smiles. He acts happy and cocky most of the time even thought deep inside hes hurt , this pain inside of him was caused by his father leaving him and his mother when he was around 5 telling that his son was useles having little to no magic. This also made him work harder and harder to prove him wrong and make his mother proud.

Secrets: Natsu keeps some secrets from the people in school such as the fact that he is gay and the other fact that even if he tries to act as a tuff boy he actually likes cute and soft things. Such as he always orders a so called „kawaii pack” wich has everything that his soft loving side would need. And at home his room actually was a very soft one. His room walls were pastel blue and he had a lot of fairy lights hanging from the ceiling making it very homey. Another secret he has is that to get off steam he goes to an area where he is alone plugs in his ears and dances.

His magic is not that strong so he have been picked on his whole life and he had to work very hard to get to such a „high” school he worked alongside with his mother at a bakery so they have enough money so he can go to a wizard school for boys. He told his mother  even the worst one is okay but she had saved all her money up so he could go to a good school , even thought hes horrible with magic  ,he can barely even fly with a broom , he makes up for it with being physical towards others. He is very flexible fast and he is a good fighter , and the fact he can understand familiar language , he’s the definition of "you dont have to be like others to achive your goal". He uses the little amount of magic he has to boost himself to do tricks to do fire and ligthning spells , to change smaller objects or fuse them together and his good way of speaking to familiars to get around  , even thought the funny thing is that his familiar is a mouse , so basically everyone questions why is such a weakling in a school like this but because hes so presistent he wont let anyone bring him down , and his sassy attitude and behaviour smacks back at people. And sometimes he actually smacks back to people and since humans hate wizards and witches he makes sure that he protects those he loves.
